Cadarn have provided numerous support services to Orthios at their main site in Holyhead, Anglesey and their assets within the Port of Holyhead.

Using the variety of expertise and experience within the Cadarn team, services such as Condition Assessments, Structural Design, Procurement and Principle Designer were and continue to be provided.
Following assessment of condition and identification of required works Cadarn assisted in the feasibility reporting, prioritising works based on criticality and drew budget forecast reports for attending to works on each asset. This allowed a programme of remediation to be drawn and the highlighting of all associated risks with each asset structure.
Asset condition surveys have played a major part in supporting the client, including a Jetty berth in the Port, the iconic stack associated with the former Aluminium works and a 2.4km long service tunnel. These 50 year old reinforced concrete structures, classed as major infrastructure, may play a critical part in the Client’ future development proposals.
The process of asset remediation has since been managed utilising upon the experience of our accredited NEC 4 Project Managers and the NEC 4 suite of contracts. Cadarn have successfully procured, managed and supervised the remediation process through to handover of the assets back to the client.
